The Boar
I created a neolithic Boar head using mostly period tools of flint, pumice, goat skin, spit and sand. I also used sand paper, a small hand drill and files. This has taken me some time and required me to look for amber boar heads for inspiration. The one I found is the final photo and is from the Getty Museum.
In many ways it is very crude but then so are my tools and methods. I wanted a work made by a common person of the time with small moments to spare for art.
